Prashanthi Vidya Kendra is located amidst the tranquil sorroundings of mountains near Kasaragod, Kerala founded i 2000 by Prashanthi Seva Trust formed under Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Bayar. The school, being inspired by ideologies of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, strives to impart academic excellence with character building education.
The campus is sorrounded by the scenic splendour of green hills and beautiful natural scenary and away from distractions, din and bustle of towns and cities which provides encouraging and proper atmosphere for the students to pursue their dream.

"Educare" System
The modern trend has given wide scope for the children to drop traditional values and culture. On seeing the deterioration of values among children Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai introduced a new system of education called "Educare". This system got worldwide recognition soon and many educational institutions started implementing the revolution. P.V.K is one among them. Blessed by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Institute aims at imparting value based education to the students.
